Setting table plan via the tables app

What are we going to do?

Do you want to work with orders putting on tables? Then this article is useful for you. In this article we will show you how to create and / or change your table floor plan yourself.

Create a table map in the backend

  1. Go to the Spont backend.
  2. Go to apps.
  3. Find the "Tables" app.
  4. Press Install.
Follow the following steps to assemble the table floor plan.
  1. Be the first to enter your neighborhood name
  2. Then add more tables / neighborhoods
  3. If you want to work without a map on the iPad, turn on the "hide floor plan".
  4. Click on Save
  5. The tables are now in the iPad

Set number of couverts per table

Do you want to be asked how many couverts are at a table before the staff can place orders on it?
Then set the "ask for the number of couverts" button to active.
If this is active, you can later filter by "per couvert" for statistics.



Edit your table map on the iPad

  1. Navigate to your tables via the blue button at the bottom left.
  2. Open Editing mode (presses the screen in an empty place.
  1. Drag the tables to the place as your floor plan should look.
  2. Click on the three dots of a table to edit the table itself.
  3. On the left of the picture, you can add objects and tables by pressing the plus, click on the 3 dots of an object by adding another object.
Eventually, you should create something like the following floor plan:
