Creating QR codes in the back office

What are we going to do?

In this article, we're going to show you how to start with the Qr code app of Spont. This app is called table orders and is intended that guests can order from their table through their phone. You can have guests checkout immediately, split the bill or have ordered without paying.

Set your QR codes

  1. Go to the spontaneous backend.
  2. Navigate to apps via the dark bar and find the table orders app.
  3. Set everything according to the wishes of your company.
If you are in the settings of the table orders app, you will see the following:

We explain the settings based on the numbers, settings without numbers speak for themselves in principle.
  1. (1) minimum/maximum order amount: Set how much euro someone should order at least if they order via the QR code.
  2. (2) Add tip: Set how people can add tips using the qr codes.
  3. (3) Download the QR codes via this button after you have set everything up.
  4. (4) Order and payment options: Here are several options how guests can pay. Choose the one that you find best suited to your company.
  5. (5) Generate all tables at once or choose which tables you want to print a Qr code and do not want to print a qr code.

Adjust the QR codes further

Press "customize", you will now see the following:
Fill in all the information.


Set up a home screen

Press "messages" to set a home screen.
To set up a home screen, you must first add a photo, then you can add messages.


Setting generic QR code

Use a Generic QR code from Spont if you want there to be one QR code for all guests/customers. For example, if you want guests to scan the same QR code and then choose their table number. Or if you only want to display the menu via the QR code.
