Add categories
What are we going to do?
Your products can be divided into different categories. To create a product in Spont, you must first have made the corresponding category. How to do this I will show you in this file.
Creating the base
1. Go to your categories'
- Press the second icon in the dark bar.
- Press "categories".
- Press the plus at the top right to add a category.
Once you have done this, you will see the following:
2. Set the basic information
- Give the category a name.
- Give the category an icon.
After setting up this information, you can already add products to the category and work with them. However, it is often useful to dive even further into the settings of categories.
3. Other institutions of categories
- If you use web orders or qr codes, the following settings are useful for you:
- Available (time slot) (1), this means from when to when people can order products from you that fall within the category. For example, if your kitchen closes at 22.00, people can order food up to 21:59 via the qr codes in your business.
- Image/description, this can only be seen by people who order via qr codes or web orders.
- By pressing the gear (2) you can specify on which platforms you want to show the category. By default, this is set to all.
- Add a printer to print out all products in this category. See this help document for more information.
- By pressing in order (3) you can change the order of your products in the category. It is common to set this from a lot ordered -> less ordered.
- If you then press Save, you will see all the categories you have created. Here you will also see a button "order". Press that button to change the order of the categories.
